Blame it on Fidel

Blame it on Fidel (2006)
Seen on the 1st January 2010 (99 min)

The story of Ana, who had to put up with two liberal parents in 1970 Paris. Her journey is interesting as it describes ideological change in an era of contrasts. Ana is forced to abandon her very nice life in Paris for a more shared, communist style of life. Her father is a Spanish, revel aristocrat man who is married to a revel rich French woman. Ana's world becomes a turmoil (the world is already a turmoil) but is able to adapt and learn possibly one very important lesson in life: it is better to experiment for yourself what is good or wrong, you might be wrong but at least you tried, you were freed from impositions during the process. A very interesting film particularly as the viewer lives the process from the eyes of a 9 year old. So, nothing is true and nothing is false, it all depends of the colour of the glass we see it through.
